Dear Church Family,
This Sunday, March 24, members of the The Ladies Altar Society and our Outreach Committee are partnering to host Sunday’s Coffee Hour in support of The National Orthodox Baby 🩷🩵Shower. This annual event is held in Orthodox parishes across our country during the month of March to coincide with the Feast of the Annunciation on March 25.
Please consider bringing wipes, diapers in size 4, 5, or 6 or Similac Advanced (blue can) or Similac Alimentum (purple can) to donate and bring them to our Fellowship Hall this Sunday. Any monetary donations may also be placed inside our BIG baby bottle 🍼 on the Coffee Hour table for the women in crisis pregnancies residing at the Genesis House of Pittsburgh. These women are in need of meals as they search for safe and permanent housing. Joe’s Rusty Nail, a local restaurant near the Genesis House, has agreed to offer us 10% off for any gift cards purchased.
As we celebrate Christ’s conception, our newly formed and approved St. John the Baptist OCLife Ministry has chosen to support Genesis of Pittsburgh, our local pregnancy center, with your donations. Their daily mission is to support countless abortion-vulnerable women and men, helping them to choose life for their unborn children.
