Christ is in our midst! We’re already halfway through Advent and since Sunday will be a busy day, here are a few important reminders.
Attached is our Caroling schedule for
THIS Sunday, Dec, 10 and everyone is invited to join us to visit 6 of our homebound parishioners. It is truly a joy to see their faces light up as they sing along with us. We will leave the church at apx. 1:30 and follow our schedule as closely as possible. Even if you can only stay for a few of our stops please feel free to join us. Lorie Strennen has also offered to drive so you are welcome to leave your car at the church or meet us at any of our designated stops. Several of our cell phone numbers are also listed so feel free to call us if you are on your way. Also, there is a table in the Fellowship Hall with Christmas cards to sign for our homebound parishioners. They will be mailed the
week of Dec. 18th.
Tuesday, Dec. 12 is our Met. Theodosius Memorial Lecture, “Discovering the Mystery of the Atonement in the Stories of C. S. Lewis” with vespers at 6p followed by light refreshments and the presentation at 7p. If you would like to bring a lenten appetizer to share please feel free. Thanks!
Next Saturday, Dec. 16 is the Cookie Walk from 10a-1p and you can also pick up your kielbasa and nut roll orders in the Fellowship Hall.
Our Yolka will be held NEXT Sunday, Dec. 17 with a covered dish lenten coffee hour. See Anita to find out what foods are still needed.
Also, please check your calendars because we need lots of Greeters from now through February. The schedule is on the Greeter Counter in the narthex along with reminder slips. You’re always welcome to sign up for several dates. Thanks!
Have a blessed weekend!
